About Us
Tucked into a quiet Roselands street, Mama Bear’s Kindergarten doesn’t look like a typical childcare centre from the outside — and that’s exactly how we like it. Inside, it’s warm, calm and genuinely home-like: a place where babies and children feel safe enough to explore.
We’re licensed for 40 children a day across three age-based rooms, with a dedicated nursery for our very youngest. Because we’re part of the local fabric, we have strong relationships with nearby primary schools, so our Pre-School Cubs move on to “big school” confident and ready.

Programs We Offer
Children learn in small, age-appropriate groups, each with their own educators and a weekly interest-based program:
Bubba Cubs (0–2 yrs)
dedicated nursery with a separate cot room, nappy-change facilities and its own shaded outdoor area.
Teddy Bears (2–3 yrs) & Cubby Bears (3–4 yrs)
a shared room with separate age-based programs and educators.
Pre-School Cubs (4–5 yrs)
a focused school-readiness room for the year before school.

A Day in Our Care
A gentle, predictable rhythm: arrival and free play, morning group time, interest-based experiences, outdoor play, freshly cooked morning tea and hot lunch, rest or quiet time, afternoon experiences and outdoor play, then afternoon tea and relaxed play until pick-up. Babies follow their own individual sleep and feed routines.
